Century Bridge's roots go back to the 1970's, when Tom Delatour, Keith Tucker, and James Gressett were Partners at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG). While they each ultimately went on to build highly successful careers in real estate, private equity, investment banking, insurance, and asset management, they have remained investment partners and friends for over 30 years.

In 1985, while a real estate developer in Austin, Texas, James Gressett and his family hosted Dr. Jeffery Jia, then a Chinese exchange student earning his PhD at the University of Texas at Austin, to live with them for two years. Dr. Jia and Mr. Gressett have been friends and business partners ever since. Prior to the formation of Century Bridge, the two launched the first KFC franchisee group in China.

It was these foundational pieces that ultimately led to the creation of Century Bridge Capital, which, since its founding, has grown to a team of fourteen investment professionals, with offices in Beijing, China and Dallas, Texas. Our focus is to invest in the growing Chinese real estate sector by forming joint ventures with Chinese real estate development companies to develop middle class, residential properties in China's growing Tier II cities. Our "on the ground" team of Chinese investment professionals allows us to efficiently and effectively source and structure investment opportunities.

While investments can be complex, Century Bridge's goals are simple — to utilize the talents, experience and resources of our team to invest in the growing Chinese economy and ultimately build long-term value for our investors.

We utilize the talents, experience, and resources of our team to invest in the growing Chinese economy.
